Spend your lunch hour gaining an understanding of the requirements for NAFTA Certification for high-tech products that are being imported or exported.
Business with Canada and Mexico is on the rise, and many of us involved in international trade are being asked to create NAFTA certifications for exports to Canada and Mexico, as well reviewing the possibilities for future certified NAFTA imports. Hopefully, this short class will also give you the knowledge to review past NAFTA compliance if necessary.
This Brown-Bag presentation is designed to give you a good working knowledge of the certification process through discussion and examples, and there will be hand-outs to take back to your office and review with others interested in this process. In addition, George will cover the compliance obligations associated with being a NAFTA importer or exporter.
Being knowledgeable in NAFTA certification will assist your company in selling your exports and paying the lowest duties and fees possible on imports.
